Good question, and it's my main purpose.
Original idea for this solution is for two purpose, one is for notice end user to change filter, the other one is for monitor human activity.
Why? As we know there is a lots single elderly living along, and some times they are sick without a chance to call out for help. So idea for monitor people who not get water for long time than we can send someone or make a call to check, this purpose is for save people's life.
